Beautiful Weather Has Arrived In Arizona!

I have been waiting for the weather to turn nice! i'm so sick of it being in the 90's. the end of October has finally brought it to me! i know other places got snow, but i've got some wonderful weather! Yay for me!  ..... Now on to what you all REALLY want to see.

My son usually hates hats...it's very rare he lets them stay on his head long. but this week, he's been obsessed with them. i was cracking up when i saw him wandering around with this crown on his head UPSIDE-DOWN! he was very pleased that i noticed, and came over to take squishy-smile pictures. he seems to think he needs to hold it on his head haha.

 Once again, a hat is all he's willing to wear. The other day he was crying, and i picked up Caleb's patrol cap and plopped it on his head. He glared at me until i brought him into the bathroom and stood him in front of the mirror and said "wow! you look like Daddy!" then he had huge smile, and happily ran around the house with it on his head. He even came over to pose for pictures! Apparently it's ok to wear hats when they make him big like Dad!

I know i've mentioned before how Connor likes to sit in baskets. This particular one is supposed to have his toys in it, but he seems to prefer himself in it. He makes me laugh!

 

 I know every is probably thinking "when are we going to see pictures that he actually is dressed in!" Well, that time is now. i really do dress my child, but he hates clothes, and undresses himself. the little stinker! it's horribly frustrating.

 Today it is BEAUTIFUL weather. Meaning like 78-ish, sunny, and only the slightest breeze. i have our porch door open, the sun shining in, and i've been in one fabulous mood! So, i decided to try to attempt to get some pictures of him dressed, and with my camera. The stinker dragged the pillows out and got them all dirty while i was getting my camera, so i just left them there for him to play on since they were already dirty. He loves snuggly blankets and pillows!

 Connor has this little "bike" he got from his Grandma Anderson's boyfriend, and he loves it! Just this week he has started riding it around everywhere. he takes it through the whole house, watches movies on it, and rams it into walls while he laughs his head off. i couldn't resist talking some pictures of him having fun on it :)

 I wanted to attempt to take pictures of Connor holding U/S pictures of our little #2, but hahaha.... you can guess how that went. :)

 I think i managed to get some decent ones, even though they are definitely not pro quality. They show off his cuteness! Then he realized it was almost nap time and let me know he was done cooperating!

 Then he climbed around and tried to play for a little bit. But when it's nap time, it's really nap time. :) We are in the process of moving nap time up a bit, so that we can move bedtime up a bit. Now that he goes to sleep on his own when he's put in his crib, and sleeps all night, it's a bit easier to make those adjustments.

That's all i have to offer for now :) but i will say that we had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and baby is looking great! We are 14 1/2 weeks, and the heart-rate was about 140. It was waving its arms around and moving a lot. We were laughing because Connor always had his hands covering his face even when he was kicking and squirming. We are enjoying seeing the little personality of this one already! :) We have our big ultra sound set for the end of November, and will find out the gender then. We are very happy everything is going well!

A Few Cute Pic's I Never Posted From September

As i was looking through my camera the other day i found these mischevious pictures of my little man that i really didn't even remember taking. but they made me laugh, so i just HAD to share them even though they were nearly a month ago. :)

 When you leave Connor alone for more than a minute, he gets in all sorts of trouble. Makeup is especially fun for him to get into, since he is well aware it is a no-no! I have told stories of his love of mascara to many people, and now you'll get to see his work, and how majorly proud of himself he is afterwords!  It's a good thing i think he is ridiculously cute!!!

Proof that I've Turned Into a Whimp

We have been having some "cooler" weather around here. it has been in the low 90's. i'm sure my Idaho friends are snickering over the fact that i'm saying that's on the chilly side. I was laughing at myself about it too, and was sure i was tough enough to handle on last trip to the pool before i chicken out and say no more, but alas, i've become a warm weathered whimp! im my defense, we went when the entire pool was covered in shade, and there was a bit of a breeze. a dear friend of mine wanted to use the hot tub, so we ventured down to the pool together. her daughter was really the only one unafraid of the water temperature. i would only stick my feet in the pool for a few minutes before declaring them numb, and running over to the hot tub to dangle them in until i couldn't handle it anymore. Connor loved splashing around, and didn't seem to care if it was hot or cold water. But unless the hot tub needs to be used my friend again, i don't think i will be visiting the pool again this year. BRRRR!

Connor loves to sit on the pool chairs and "lounge" like a big boy! he didn't want more to sit with him at all. He is too cute!

 I know my head is cut off in the pic, but i had to show how ginormous my belly already is... it's pretty much impossible to hide now. 13 weeks! Eeek!

Connor was cracking me up when he was walking around in the hot tub. I had to make sure he didn't fall off the bench and into the deeper water, and i wouldn't let him sit because i really think hot tubs are too much for kids, but he was so funny putting my sun glasses on. he refused any attempts of help, but loved taking them off and on by himself!

Other Bits of Cuteness

Like i mentioned in the other post, we haven't done many fun things due to Mommy being so sick...but i have tried my best to document the cute litte things he does. So here are some pic's!

 We have to take pictures sometimes when Connor thinks he needs to call people on the phone. So him and Mommy take funny pictures and he laughs and laughs!

Connor has been doing so well sitting through his movies at home that we decided to take him to his first movie in theater's! we were so impressed by how well he did! We saw the movie Brave. I think we all liked it! i didn't get any pic's of him at the theater, so you'll just have to deal with one of him patiently watching a movie at home.

 Last week Caleb caught him sitting in this bucket playing on an old phone..and it was hilariously cute! Not sure how that would be a comfortable seat!

 Connor loves firetrucks. He has a Mighty Machines movie and he pretty much only watches the fire truck part of it haha. The Cub Scouts were going to get a tour a few weeks ago and Connor got to come with Mom, and he thought it was soooo cool!

Our family has been dealing with cold/ allergy sickness, and it has NOT been fun! :( Caleb had to get a wisdom tooth pulled, and was sick at the same time, and it was not fun! And Connor has been working on more teeth! he now has 10! He has a horribly snotty nose, and even had a fever a few days ago and napped on and off all day. he loves to snuggle with his elephant and won't go to sleep without it! We are hoping to all be feeling better soon!

Please please PLEASE ignore the gigantic mess... i have a hard time keeping up with his energy level, and often just surface clean at the end of the day. Obviously this video isn't of the end of the day haha. He loves to dance and turn on music on the keyboard! he sure is smart!

That's all i have to offer for now, but hopefully it will hold everyone over for a little while. i'm hoping to get some energy back in the coming few weeks and get back to more exciting posts! I'm almost 13 weeks now, and excited about the 2nd trimester! Hoping it will bring some relief :) wish us luck!!!
