Another Week, Another Bit Of Mischief

This week has been a bit of a rough one. it has been sooooo hot that i've been a bit down in the dumps. i think i've told about a million people how much i hate living here. i get so crabby when i can't escape the heat!!! i've had a constant headache, and i have just been wanting to cry my eyes out. but i think things are going to get better, because i have made a new friend that lives in my apartment complex, so i think we are going to do a playdate soon! i keep hearing more and more of my church friends are moving away, so i've been a bit lonely. i miss my Idaho friends a ton!!!! and my family, and of course my favorite cousins! i just miss everyone alot. but as of right now, i'm thinking positive. i just hope i keep it up!

Caleb has been picking up some extra hours at Papa Murphy's since he's not in school, so he's been keeping pretty busy even without class. i appreciate him so much, and how hard he works to take care of Connor and i! and the fact that he NEVER complains, just shows how much of a wonderful guy he is! :) i sure hooked a good one! ;) 

Now on to exciting news.. Connor has got his two top teeth now! they came in the week of his birthday only 2 days apart, and i have been thrilled to see them peeking through his gums!  He also had his 1 yr check up this week and had to get 4 shots :( i didn't enjoy that part at all, but i was impressed with how tough he was with it! he didn't cry until almost the third poke...and then was was TICKED OFF!  he now weighs just over 21 lbs, and is nearly 3 ft long!!! he is in the 95th percentile for height, and the 25th percentile for weight. i think he is taking after his mommy! mom says that's how i was :). Also at his doctor's we discussed the dairy issue he has been having, and his doc referred us to an allergist for testing. we think he might be allergic to milk. his appointment is on Tuesday and we are hoping that it will provide us the answers we need! until then, i have him on soy milk. he isn't too happy that i'm trying to quit nursing, but i think with time he will accept it. i'm ready to be done!!! he is also needed to get blood work done to make sure he isn't anemic, so we are doing that Wednesday. i think it will be a stressful couple of days for me, but i'm just glad we are going to get this figured out!

now onto the cuter stuff that is probably more interesting than a play-by-play of our week... pictures of the little shenanigans our little boy has got himself into this week!

 

 the other day Connor was playing and i was cooking and i heard him calling for me, and when i went to see what was wrong i saw that he had climbed into his toy bucket all by himself and was upset because he couldn't pull his toys out when he was sitting on them! it was so stinkin' cute!

 Connor wore the new shirt he got for his birthday from his Grandpa Barthlome, and kept running around and flashing mommy his cute smile, and everytime i would think "yes, he IS a great catch!" what a cutie he is!!!

 Pillows are a new obsession of this little guy's... he will drag them all over the house and then jump on them and roll on them and hide under them. i keep trying to get a video put he stops as soon as he hears the ding that means its recording haha. smart kid he is!

two days ago Connor fell asleep during his lunch after an incredibly grumpy morning! he had screamed at me for two hours straight, and we knew he was exhausted, but didn't want to be in his crib. he was eating one second, then the next he was out like a rock! :)

I've also managed to capture a few cute little vidos! Connor playing the piano, Connor playing with toys, and Connor just bein' cute. :) hope you enjoy them!!!
