Reminiscings...

it feels so weird to know that the last year has gone by sooooo fast! it was one year ago that i welcomed our little Connor into the world, without Caleb by my side. i can honestly say, that was very, very hard. but, it was worth it. getting to finally hold him made it all worth it for me. today i am soooo glad that Caleb is here to celebrate this special day with me! i love watching the bond that Caleb and Connor have as father and son, and i love that they love to be together! when i got to hold Connor for the first time i could hardly believe it was real! he was so tiny and quiet and perfect! it was a day i will never forget. i read back over my blog entry from the experience and for anyone else who wants to read it, the link is here. it was quite an exhausting day, and there were times when he was small that i felt over whelmed and inadequate, but none of that changes the fact that our little boy was, and still is, just what i needed. he helps me to be better each and every day! i am so glad that Connor is a part of our family! i know we got lucky to have such a sweet little boy. ever since he was teeny weeny, he has had such a good nature.  his adorable laugh lights up a room, and even perfect strangers are enchanted by his sweet smile. we feel so lucky to be his parents!!! we have so many hopes and dreams for our little boy, and we are enjoying every second of watching him grow and learn. it's hard to believe he is a year old already! we have fun plans to celebrate today, and i will be posting about it at a later time!
